I have a confession. I think glasses are sexy. Is that odd? Rather than agreeing with the stereotype that one who wears glasses is a "four eyes" clumsy teacher's pet geek, I think that the right pair of glasses can give a guy a classy distinction from those around him. So, with very few exceptions, those guys I know who wear glasses, I prefer how they look with the glasses on than off. I realize this is not a particularly deep or profound post, but I'm curious if anyone else out there agrees with me. So tell me, do you crave a bespectacled man?
Grab those bifocals! These guys are worth the effort to see clearly....

Glasses are hot. They are at once cerebral, sexy and - on an infinitely more shallow note - a great fashion accessory. For me, anyway, they tie into the whole Clark Kent/Superman fantasy - brainy, somewhat socially inept and unobtrusive by day and wild, romantic and sexually uninhibited at night.
Michael -- you're not alone. My roommate Jefcat just swoons at the sight of a cute Asian guy in glasses (they're called "megane" in Japanese).
I prefer my boyfriend MBB without 'em, though -- I think he looks like Jason Scott Lee (in his younger days) and you can't get much hotter than that! (JSL, I mean, not MBB)
I am glad to see that at least a few others find guys in glasses are very sexy.
I find it a big turn on to see a cute guy with glasses, since i have found that behind those mild manner appearances some of the best times I ever had was with someone wearing glasses.
Since I wear them too maybe I can relate to the alter ego that lurks behind the lens.
I always find a man in glasses sexy as long as they are an appropriately styled pair and so on. In fact a nice pair of glasses are a great fashion statement.
So Yes do make passes at guys in glasses.

Haven't we all had the fantasy of the bespectacled busboy who awkwardly carries our luggage into the hotel room, but then as the door closes as he enters the room, he suddenly looks at you with a deeply-seductive stare and suddenly throws his glasses across the room, tears off his clothing, and takes you right there on the bed....mmmmmm....

I will say that the one drawback with glasses is that a poorly-selected pair could obscure eyes that would otherwise shine brighter. I guess, either way, the glasses tend to come off with the rest of the clothing! :-)

I'm thinking that this whole Clark Kent-syndrome may have something to it. Maybe I am attracted to the guy who appears on the surface to be calm and serene but who has some "special powers" just beneath the surface! hehehe

I wear glasses also, and sometimes I think they can be used to an advantage, because removing them at the right time can be very seductive and sexy, don't you think? It's like silently communicating to someone that you are really looking at them, nothing between you and him (though perhaps my illustration doesn't work perfectly since the glasses would actually help you see him better....hehehe). :)

I'm wearing the same pair of glasses I've worn for 3 years and was wise enough to buy a pair that was not too extreme in any style, so they have served me well. I know people, though, who buy new glasses far more often, just so they can stay current with the latest "look." I can't imagine spending that kind of money for specs. Of course, you can go to an extreme I guess....it's a good thing I don't wear the glasses I wore 10 years ago when I got my first passport picture taken....they were perfectly in style then and highly-complimented by others, but can you imagine my wearing these now? LOL

On Friday, September 15, Blogger.com lockec this blog saying that their spam prevention robots identified it as being a potential spam blog. I filled out the request form for them to unlock it, and they promised to unlock it in "less than a business day" (direct quote). In just a few minutes, it will be Friday a week later, and they STILL have not responded to my multiple requests and e-mails.
So, Blogger sucks, and until they get their act together, I cannot post to my site. Please be patient though! I will be back as soon as they let me!!!!
